I've decided to paint a Stones and Crystals series. It gives me a wider range of ideas for painting and it ties in with my stones that I sell on eBay so I get to list them there instead of in the store. SO... the challenge is getting a bit easier. Just thought I'd pass it on so that anyone else thinking of ideas can maybe be inspired by starting a series of something you love. This painting is of a photo I took of the inside of a super seven crystal. You can veiw the stone photo in my Rock Gallery photos.

I have spent the last 2 months in hopes for some snow. I suppose the only snow I'm going to see is the photos on Centria's blog. It was snowing really hard one day for about 10 minutes. It melted as soon as it touched the ground and as quick as it came it was gone. Sooooo! If I can't have my snow I'm ready for spring. Ready to get outside and plant and play in the dirt. I was so in the mood for spring my painting for my daily blog was floral. A little different from my normal .... well I know my paintings aren't normal... but different from my usual. So I'm ready to get out there. Somebody mail me some snow......

This is my attempt to gather all my friends here on Gaia to join me in supporting a very special lady. She has inspired my soul, warmed my heart and lifted my spirit. She is Centria! If you haven't seen her blog, you really must check it out. She is doing something truly amazing. Her photos and adventures are not always easy for her but always end in blessings. She is a true soldier of faith. Please grab your favorite hot drink, tea, coffee, hot cocoa, etc... and lets go over and carry some to her with love and support for what she is doing. WOW a fun day in the snow with Centria! Here we all come Sweetheart, get ready to take us all with you on your outdoor journeys!

I've challenged myself to painting one per day. It is much harder than I thought. I try to paint it, post it on my blog and Raincrow Galleries, get the photos on Gaia and My Space, and still get my work done. Wheeew! but it is fun. Although not only am I running out of space on my walls to hang them, I am running out of canvas to paint them on. LOL! I did say challenge RIGHT? Oh and not to mention paint. I have to buy supplies to keep going. I consider myself a full time artist and part time everything else, because painting is my passion. It free's me. When I'm at the easel I can forget about those money challenges that I face, the problems of the World around me. For those few hours I can just be who I want , go where I want, and do what ever I want. It's my World, my place. My SACRED  space.  All prayers and good intentions for my challenge are WELCOMED with open heart!
